FAQ's

What are the fees?
We charge a flat 10% fee on all bookings. This fee is deducted from the balance paid by the camper before it is deposited to your account.
Do I need liability insurance?
We recommend that you do get liability insurance to cover you and your property in the event of an accident. We are working on offering liability insurance as part of being a host, and will let you know when this service is available to you.
What do I have to do as a host?
Well that's up to you. You can offer a bare bones experience where the campers just get on with it. Or you can offer additional services such as coffee, pitch set-up, and property tours.
What facilities do I need to offer campers?
Again, that's entirely up to you. Some campers prefer wild camping with no facilities. Others may prefer washroom facilities and electrical outlets. However, most campers want campfires, so offering a safe fire pit location and a bucket of water should be considered essential!
Are there zoning considerations for a campsite?
This depends on your municipality. We recommend that you check with them before hosting guests at your property.
